We’re now less than two weeks out from a big Easter weekend at Champions Centre, and excitement is building toward Easter 3D. We’re anticipating a big weekend, with many people choosing to follow Christ!
Last year we started asking people to make free reservations for Easter services, and here are a few reasons why…
1. Reservations are a tool. Making a reservation is a great way to invite someone to come with you and see the story of Jesus presented like they’ve never seen it before. Ask them to come, and let them know you’ll make sure and reserve space for them (getting a reservation for someone communicates to them that you took extra effort because they matter to you).
2. We want to have room. Reservations are going fast. We anticipate a few of our seven weekend services to reach capacity, and we want to know when you and your family are coming so we can plan accordingly.
To make your reservations, head online and choose either our Tacoma Campus or Bellevue Campus, and reserve your seats in a few simple clicks.
If you’ve already made reservations for yourself and your family, I’d like to ask you to take time today to consider who you could bring with you to church…and make them a reservation. If you need to, plan to attend multiple services that weekend so you can attend with the people you will bring.
Help us spread the word!
You can be part of making history this Easter, and we’re making it as easy as we can for you to share the experience with people in your world.
Invite everyone you can.
Be bold, and get the word out about a 3D experience on Easter. Grab reservations for people in your world who you think will come.
Connect on Facebook and Twitter.
Head to our Facebook page, and click the like button. You will find videos and material for you to share. On Twitter, use the hashtag #Easter3D.
This is our time, church! This is a great season to invite & bring—people are more open to come to church at this time of year than any other. Looking forward to everything ahead of us!
Let’s do this!

We’ve been talking about the values of Champions Centre during this ‘Greater Things’ series. This wheel represents the 8 core values we hold as a church. Read through them and keep them at the heart and forefront of your mind this week!
We are declaring at Champions Centre, 2012 will be a year of Greater Things. We’ve experienced some great things, but God always has greater things in mind for the future.
There are 4 specific areas that contribute to where we are going as a church:
1. Big Vision
It’s a great day to be a part of the Church. Big things are happening all over the world among the church. The top 100 largest congregations in the US together total over 1 million people. Churches are creating Bible apps for phones, they are fighting Human Trafficking and producing chart topping worship albums. Let’s embrace the idea that we are a church with big vision. William Carey said, “Expect great things from God, and attempt great things for God.”
2. Small Groups
We are encouraging people to do life together. Church is not just a place to attend, it’s a community to belong to. The real vision of the house happens in small groups. It looks like people meeting together, learning and growing together. This year groups will be taking on community initiatives together to show love to our great city.
3. Generous Giving
Being a giver is a fundamental part of being a Christian. People who not generous are missing out on Gods best for their lives! The Bible says, “Give and it shall be given to you” (Luke 6:38). There’s so much good that we can do by giving. When we give our churches are healthier, stronger, more influential and effective. Let’s be rich minded in our giving this year.
4. Champion Living
One of the great things about the church is being around people who are overcoming. God is glorified when we declare His goodness, confess God’s greatness when we are going through trials, when when we overcome our failures. Continue to press on through adversity. Believe God’s best for your life this year.
It’s so inspiring to be around people who are winning! Let’s believe together that this is going to be our best year as individuals and as a church. Greater things are ahead in 2012!
